Solutions › One app

Home Assistant or Homey. Same Zendo.

Zendo works with Home Assistant or Homey. Same floorplan, same controls, same app for everyone in the house.

One app, whichever platform you run.

There's no Home Assistant edition and no Homey edition. There's one app, and it looks and behaves the same way on each.

Your system does the work of talking to devices. Zendo is the app you use.

When something is ready, it appears in the changelog like everything else.

Built for more than one.

Most things that sit on top of a smart home platform only ever work with one. Zendo isn't one of them, and the list is growing.

The floorplan you build is yours: the rooms, the layout, the outdoor areas, and where each accessory sits.

Everyone in the house learns one app.

Questions people ask first

No, and it isn't trying to become one. Zendo doesn't pair devices or talk to them directly. Home Assistant or Homey does that, and Zendo is the app you use.

A Zendo property connects to one system at a time. You can have multiple properties in Zendo (each with their own automation system).

Zendo speaks Matter internally, as part of how the app is built. That's an architecture detail rather than a supported-protocol claim: Zendo shows whatever your system can see, and it's your system that pairs things.

A fair thing to ask of any subscription. Your system keeps running without us, because it was always the thing doing the work. What you'd lose is the floorplan, which is why we publish a dated changelog going back to the first release rather than asking you to take our word for it.
