Zendo connects to the system you already run
Home Assistant or Homey, your accessories, your automations. None of it has to change.
Your system keeps doing the work.
Zendo isn't a smart home platform. It doesn't pair devices and it doesn't talk to them directly. Home Assistant or Homey does that, and it carries on doing it.

Your devices keep working.
Matter, Zigbee, Philips Hue and KNX all reach Zendo the same way: your system pairs them, and Zendo shows them in the room they're in.
Sonos as well. Speakers sit along the bottom of the floorplan rather than in one room, and Spotify favourites play natively.
Node-RED, ESPHome, Zigbee2MQTT, Z-Wave JS, Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home work the same way. If your system can see the device, Zendo can put it on the floorplan.
Whatever your system can see, Zendo can show.
Detection, recording and storage stay where they are. Zendo puts the cameras on the floorplan and gives you the live stream, with WebRTC for lower delay.
Frigate. Keeps detecting and recording. Zendo shows the cameras it exposes.
Scrypted. Same arrangement. Scrypted handles the plumbing, Zendo handles the looking.
UniFi Protect. Keeps recording. Zendo shows the cameras, and the doorbells too.
Wall tablets, without an extra app.
Zendo has Kiosk Mode, so a wall-mounted tablet stays awake, dims on a timer and appears in your system as a device your automations can control. No need to install and maintain an extra app.
